Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone would be interesting in coming to PPC in the park for the show/track day they are doing on the 1st of May 2010, its not an event we have done before so I'd like to know if there is enough interest to get a stand there. I would imagine it would be WeekendRacer format.
During the day there are track sessions, they also doing the following..
* Autotest (bookings in advance £10)
* Club displays
* 27Litre Rover SD1
* Rolling Road
* Track action all day
* Track day Rolls Royce- roof chopped, live at the show!
* PPC staff cars
* PPC feature cars
* Tradestands
* Autojumble
* All day track action
* Kitcar rides
* Hotrods on track
* All day bar
* Liveworkshop demonstrations
* The World's fastest lawnmower!
* Ye Olde drifting
* Old Smoky tractor puller
* Drive in Movie
* Burnouts
* Team-X Buggys
It sounds and looks good going from last years show report, its also a week after Castle Combe so may not be possible for some.
If you are seriously interested, please jot your name down on the thread, ticket prices will be around £15 but should be able to get it cheaper for club. Track will be £20 per 15m session.
Payments would have to be in at the end of the month/very early March so we can book a place, let me know what you think

went last year pretty good show really,
best bit is none of the bufty brigade there.
track time will be sold out so quick so have to be quick to grab it.

as mentioned its more of a track/performance focused thing, i'd be after a range of different cars who would be up for coming on track. For this show I dont just want a row of corsas like we have at other shows!!

Ahh thats thats fair enough then. I don't really fancy taking mine on the track so I'll probably just go without showing/tracking

I'll do one session done Mallory 5 times now so don't want to do much more, Civic might be back for then too with slicks

Mallory Park is also a very very good track for beginners.
I wouldn't mind going, never done Mallory Park. I find out this month whether i'm being made redundant or not so wont know whether I can go until the end of the month.

But how many of you would go on track? This isnt really a oh lets polish our cars and show off sort of day, its going to be a stand, track action, banter, look at all the other shit thats on offer. Kinda like Combe days
If I can get a definite list, I'll u2u about payments and get our order in, we need to do this at the end of feb to get on!
