how come there is a whole other breed of focus that now looks like an st? i see loads of 1.6 style and other models with massive rear valance etc.

was a new fancy ''sporty'' model that came out last year.

a bloke at work has the 1.8 with the wierd silver rear valance, doesn't look good as you can see the downturned tailpipe on the n/s.
