Get 4300k or 6000k.

Just about everything that has them standard has 4300k, 8000k is far too blue, 3k would be yellow.

Cheap ones are just the same as dear ones tbh, unless you've got a bulb warning system, in which case I'd look on forums for that car.

You might as well stick with halogens if you go for 3k.

8k and 10k are blue, 10k is verging on purple.

Apart from the massive risk of getting pulled they look stupid and don't put out as much light as lower temperatures.

4300k or 6. I prefer 6k. I've owned 4300, 6 & 8

HIDs Direct are regarded as one of the better makes these days I think.

Either your monitor or your eyes don't work.

The colours are a fact, it's not subjective.

3k looks gold, not yellow, if you put 3k hids next to a halogan bulbed car youd see. also 10k is a bit blue, 8 k would be ok imo depend how blue he wants them

Halogens are 3200k, just like the 3000k hids, you need to use google a bit.

I wouldn't.

One is a colour temperature chart.

You have a selection of the same picture messed with in photoshop and somebody taking pictures with a digital camera, I'm sure they made sure to get the white balance correct every time.

3000k is shit and yellow, 10000k is at the top end of blue, verging on purple.

You clearly have not had 10k's then as they are pretty much dark blue/purple

I've noticed that 6k or 8k's from diff suppliers can vary in colours dramatically.

majority of the time, 6k is blue tinted (light on the road shines a light blue), 8k is full on blue (light on road will be a sort of neon blue).

I've got 5k's in my leon and the light is crystal white, both on the headlamp itself and on the road.

Photos cannot be considered effective unless the white balance on the camera is configured correctly.

excuse me, who are you to tell me what i have and havent had fitted to my car? if you noticed that 6 and 8k vary does it not stand to reason the 10k which i had may not have been as blue as the ones you have seen?
