Is it in black and white that they can only use it when it's stolen?

I'd expect them to also use the data in a crash to avoid paying out.

There constant, just like a normal tracker.

They use it to work out how many miles you do.

No infact they dont care when you drive, you can select how many miles you do during the night/day time/rush hour.

What are the peak, off peak and super peak times?Two main categories of Driving Times:

- Peak Times (both Experienced and Young Drivers)
◦Mon to Fri 7:30am – 9:30am & 4:30pm to 60pm (excluding public holidays – see appendix)
- Off-Peak Times
◦Any time outside peak or super peak times.
If there is a driver on the policy under 23 years old then there is also ;

- Young Driver Super Peak Times
◦Fri, Sat, Sun night/mornings: 110pm to 50am
◦Night/morning of a Public Holidays: 110pm to 50am

Off peak costs less per mile than the other two. Basically you tell us the miles that you will drive in the year (roughly) and then we make an assumption on the amount of hours you will do in rush hour and super peak (if applicable ) You can then amend those splits if you don’t think they are right. We then allocate a rate per mile and give you a forecasted insurance cost which you can control through the year. If you drive less than you forecast then your insurance cost will go down and vice a versa.

Driving at night or to work at rush hour costs more ;-)
