When I went out of my front door this morning I noticed the cover had been pulled up over my motorbike and the straps removed.. Some little scroat must have been having a nose at the chain/padlock that locks it to the ground anchor.. Now I'm proper paranoid its going to go walk-abouts

Put it in your kitchen. Or in your bathroom.
Hope no one steals it though.

You could have 10 locks on there, but all it takes is one good one that cutters couldn't get through at all. I'm guessing you lock it to something? Otherwise a few of them just lift it into a van don't they?

Can't have anything of your own without it getting tampered with. Is it you Davey that's got it locked (or had it locked) to a drain?
Can you get proximity alarms for m/bikes?

My mates dad had his sprinter van fixed, they found it parked out side a polish hand car wash with 2 other nicked vans, called the police and htey said they were 'busy' so he took the van back himself and the police closed the case.. useless fucktards the police.

TBF what were police meant to do, if the van had already been taken away from the place. It can't be proven it was ever there, although I would of done the same aswell

tbh, the fact that they left the cover and straps off probably meant that they was not interested, if they were going to come back for it, they wouldn't want you to know that someone has been looking at it.

Considering 70% of their job had been done for the lazy badgers all they had to do was show up and "aprehend the criminals" but they couldnt even be bothered to do that!
If he had left the van who's to say they wouldnt have taken it away and burned it out to hide the evidence?

polish car wash round here was done not long ago, all the local chavs etc were burgling houses and the polish people in the car wash were buying the stolen goods off them to make profit on em.

Hopefully they looked at the lock and thought "Fuck that".. Plus its a very distinctive bike, the only one in the area.

yer, well, i say that, but you can't be too careful as most theives are oppurtunists which means they are also idiots.
Had my moped nicked twice out the back garden, and once nicked from my person as I had a screwdriver digging into my belly.
I hate scum that nick other people's property
