I do feel a bit for Bridge, as he probably knows he couldnt keep his hatred in check and it would end up dividing the England squad. As I said in one of the previous threads on it, he'll have his friends within the squad, and if he is there feeling all this anger towards Terry then his mates are going to end up feeling it to. At least if he isnt about then those others will probably just get on with it.

I personally wouldn’t be able to concentrate on the game; I’d be concentrating more on killing Terry. Yes, he's (Bridge) a professional...and should act accordingly due to the stage...but he's also human...and has human emotions.

Perhaps he doesn’t want to look a fool by fucking up on the pitch during the world cup, and being remembered for it forever.

Fair play to him tbh, it's not what i'd do but if he doesn't think he'll be able to play alongside terry then it's best for everyone. I can't wait to see the chelsea city game at the weekend
