I'm 18 and seriously contemplating getting a Bora for my next car! lol, I think they're lovely looking cars.

Had a chance to buy my Mums when she was selling it, 1.9 tdi s, only the basic model 90bhp one though.

And it needed cambelt doing and some other bits, so didn't bother. get one bought!

to be fair the ones to buy are the diesel, just a lot of them these days are high mileage and the ones that arent are v expensive because of that, i got quoted £600 fc to insure a 130bhp one with 2 years no claims so not bad on insurance either

I'd own one (although I'm 27) but it'd have to be the V6 model.

A fully specced 1.8T in black with leather for me. I guess its halfway between a Golf Gti 1.8T and Octy VRS?

I test drove a V5 once, was ok but the earliery 150bhp engine I think. Even though it was a V5 spec seemed fairly basic.

A well specced one with some decent VAG rims if you go for one imo.

seen this astra, (cant make my mind up what i want ) clicky he has said he'll give me 1k p/x for my car so that leaves the car costing 1.5k, whats everyone think? i have never liked red cars but im liking this one, just going to do an insurance quote now

The seller says "very hi spec" yet its got basic cloth seats?

Really dont think red suits the coupe tbh.

Can you afford to run it? fuel & parts etc?

If i were buying an Astra Coupe id probably get one of the N/A engines, maybe the 2.2

In my experience turbo cars of that age/mileage = high running costs.

Thats no reason to go rushing into a car just because they will take a part ex. It may seem convienient now and you see it as getting an Astra Coupe for 1.5k

In a few months down the line if you need to spend any money on it which imo will be inevitable it will suddenly seem like a very bad idea.

I notice they only offer 1 month warranty as well, thats pretty shit.
