I'm not even going to bother explaining, lets just say the fails are three pages long and it would cost more than the car cost me to repair it so I'm thinking new car time tbh... I've added another Punto in the list because in theory I could just buy another one and get some parts put over on to it!? Anyway, opinions please, cheers loves...
VW Golf VR6 2.8 Highline Mulberry Edition
Fiesta zetec s
Ford puma lux pack with leather recaros
FIAT COUPE 20V TUBRO IN INK BLACK
fiat punto gt3 turbo
Peugeot 306 Gti6
Although I don't wanna travel too far really so not sure on the two Fiat's there...

I love the vr6's but something doesn't look right about that one, looks high, rear quarter looks murky, arches and grill badge are missing. As much as she says it hasn't been driven hard she said it pulls hard up to 7k in each gear
Interior looks pretty good though!

That one is explained...
quote: It was quite rusty around the rear wheel arches (common problem with VR6s) but I have rubbed them back and had them filled with professional anti-rust gel. I've used anti-rust primer over the top and sprayed it with paint from Volkswagen but the finish isn't as shiny as the rest of the car.
As regards to the badge it looks like it might have just been sprayed black!? Not sure about the other points you made though.

Yeah but unless I can source a second hand tank a new one from Fiat is £550! Which is all my garage could get hold of... and a new hazard switch is £175
Either way I have to sort it by the weekend. My Punto forum are saying it's all pretty easy to fix, labour £100 max costs. But I just don't have the time or knowledge to do it anymore since I've got a new job, I need a working car! Might just chuck it on the Punto forum for £500... it'll probably go as the it's Seb2 and has quite a lot of other mods.

i wouldn't touch any of them, tbh.
they all seem high mileage and the puma and fiesta zetec-se engines would probably explode.

ahh didn't see that, both sides will look like this then I'm guessing, would be a bit wary if they were skimping to save money, especially on a high miler, could be worth having a look though.

I did look at that mate lol... not sure the colour does it for me though unfortunately, and also I'm not really looking to travel outside of Essex. Considering the garage told me not to smoke near the rear of the car because it might catch alight

golf vr6 - try finding a good one. if by some miracle you do, you'll be put off by the shite handling and running costs. They are wicked motorway cruisers though
Fiat coupe turbo - ink black is one of the best colours, nice interior and sound lovely with a cone filter. Pull well but dont handle. Out of the two id have the fiat(as long as the cambelts been doner ecently)

5 Fail Items?
Hardly Epic.
You could have most of that sorted after a trip to the scrappy and a day to faff about...
