So i have recently come back from France after snowboarding for about 6 weeks and have kind of spent all my money that i had from selling the caddy. So i had to buy a cheap car that was reliable.
So after many different ideas i settled on this bargain.
Its a 1990 318i Lux BMW E30.
Its only done 97k and has ever single mot and a crazy amount of service work, recently had a service for £785. Its taxed for a month, and mot`s for about 3 and i paid a whole £450
So some pics of the first time i washed it:
Bit hard to see but the paint was so flat and had lost all its shine.

So after i washed it i clayed it all, degreased all the engine bay, degreased all of the wheel arches and then set about polishing the whole thing with my machine polisher.
It came up pretty well and then i waxed it with two different waxes so should keep it good for a while, still need to sort out a few bumper scuffs but with plans i have that will be sorted.
Went and took a few pics but was getting dark so didnt come out well.
Plans for the future when i have some money are to slam on coilovers and then some wheels and a subtle standard skirts and upgraded front bumper.
Should do me for a little while

£450 that's an absolute bargain! Nice motor to work on too, M40 engine if I'm not mistaken? I had an E36 318i (early one) with the same motor. Just make sure it's had the water pump changed, early ones had a plastic impellor that breaks up.
I'm not normally a fan of E30s, but that looks lovely.

Looks mental condition for £450, the arches don't even look rusty.

i have about 20 reciepts from euro car parts and one of them is a water pump so i think it has had one.
been looking at coilovers but there not cheap due to being built in hub assembly style. As soon as i find a job though ill get some or if i can sell all my stuff and wheels.

I've got a folder for my e36 with every single reciept from new, it must have had £10k+ spent easily, I should add it all up one day.

Love it. Nice buy that. Will look a stunner on a set of BBS
Would love one or similar myself but always thought the running/servicing costs on them were quite high?

Luke there not expensive for servicing unless you take them to a dealer tbh. Parts are just as cheap as any other car and I'll do most the work my self anyway!
I haven't decided how long I'm gona have this as I'm going to aus in October for 10 months or so, so duno if I'm gona sell it or keep it then.
Can't wait to get some coilovers but need a job first!

*** Updated ***
Well after 2 years of not having these on a car i decided to put them on the BM, one because i may aswell and two because i would of had to pay another £25 today to keep it off the car for another year so saved me money.
And before you ask C4 is because dad, mum, brother have C1, C2, C3 and the WLK is for my surname, Wilkinson.
gona get rid of the front plate though to smooth the mouldings and get a pressed metal one as i bent my last one when i ran over it with my bike

************UPDATE*************
Ive been spending some mula
after the porsche wheels i have owned for 5 years now were sold i though i would buy some bits and bobs and respend it on something i wanted.
Suspension:
First off came some suspension.
Shocks first, the fronts are second hand but unused, spax adjustable dampening shocks.
Then the rears i got brand new, again adjustable dampening, ones on the left.
Still need to get some springs but will be getting a -60mm springs which should bring it down nicely.
Wheels:
So i thought i would buy some wheels with money earned by wheels.
So when feet first and bought my very first set of BBS`s
There 8" x 15" with et of 13. should hopefully sit nicley. Have got 195/45/15 tyres so give a nice amount of stretch.
should be here by next week
Think i will break them down, polish the dishes and sort out a few scuffs. paint the centers white, same as the car and gold bolts?
