i have just invested in a nova gsi engine for my car as my timing belt snapped so i thought not to waist my time fixing a little engine when i can just ahve a bigger one so i will take some pictures of the car from now till the end of the conversion to see what you think

picked the engine up taday didnt know that i was getting a box with it so i have a spare f 13 box now so that will be good for when i brake one payed £120 for engine box loom and ecu with 87k on it so pritty happy about it i will start uploading pics tomorow

Isn't that a bit obvious? take all paint off (if any) get metal polish and polish it til shiny.

If your 1.2 is an 8v, timing belt doesn't damage the valves, just stick a £10 belt back on and flog it for £100 with old box etc etc
