For motorway use only, 80 miles a day, prob keep for about a year and a half, needs to be an estate and reliable..
I have bought from this company before and car was mint! can prob get about £500 off the cost of this car
http://www.burnagemotors.co.uk/GetDealer.do?did=27121&pageid=1
full service history (Honda) and owned from new by 1 company owner......
opinions?
Would have to lose all that plastic crap off it though!

Being a company car, that would of had 180k of abuse.

To be fair, it looks excelent condition for 180k, would expect seat to be more worn.

The Comapny Cars at my work are maintained with no expense spared. The abuse thing is a myth in most instances.

Agreed with Nath we had a Passat at work with 260k miles before it died and needed a clutch.
Saying that from a loosing money point of view I woudnt touch that with a barge pole.
If it was a Beemer however no hesitation as you'd prolly buy it cheap and sell it on cheap.

Someone at work did about that mileage in their 530d, may be even more in the same time frame.
It was like Triggers broom from Only Fools and Horses. Everything had literally been replaced or rebuilt. If it has plenty of history where things have been replaced, you know you have another 180k or so.
But I personally wouldn't buy it.

I'd say that the abuse thing is MOSTLY myth, unless it belonged to a young lad whos been given his first company car.
Dad's Audi had 150k on it and was immaculate, he and the company looked after it, no expense spared.
His coughPriuscough now is on 60k andhas never been given abuse... not till I get my hands on it anyway!

I agree and disgaree with the compnay car thing
On the plus side they get ano expense spared i.e all honda parts, alwasy serviced etc
however I do not treat my car the best to be honest - it gets driven very hard
However at the milage most if not all will be motorway miles so very little abuse can be had

This just reminds me of having a bloke in a new pug come up beside me on a roundabout junction only to be slowly nudged into the roundabout by another bloke in the same model car
I think company cars do get abused tbh

I've done give or take 180k in my Astra Sport(95) in just under 5 years! Its currently on 244k! Its still on the original engine! and still makes 30bhp more than "book" figure!
Mileage isnt much to worry about on newer cars!
