I can't drive it as it has no MOT, I took it to an exhaust specialist, and he said he took a reading, I am not sure how long they left it running for, but probably not THAT long as was very busy.
I asked about redex aswell, bloke said was rubbish and makes no difference

Its already an hour away mate, and will be on the m25 at parts, do you need just changing gear at high revs? or getting up decent speed before I go in?

Sorry its a green label bottle but the contents are still red.My bad.
I got a bottle from Halfords the other day and its a 500ml bottle.Supposed to be 250ml but its got 100% extra free and was less than a fiver.
Its called Fuel System Cleaner....Petrol Injector.

Yeah thats the 1.They are probably just the same anyway.
I had a read of both and favoured the green labelled bottle for some reason.
Think it was because it actually cleaned the fuel system rather than just the fuel itself.

The STP silver bottle "complete fuel system cleaner" is supposed to be the best as it has a chemical no others have that apparently DOES dissolve wax etc.
I used the redex stuff and my emissions seemed to go down for the next 2 MOTs.
Also is the new CAT a good expensive one? as the £30 ones are shit, my brother had a new £30 one put on and failed emissions, so welded an old ford focus one on and it passed easily.

I just bought the redex one in the first link £4 with trade card.

The cat I paid £50 for new, my old one was fucked anyway, cause old engine was chucking petrol and all kinds of crap out of it

Surely because they're doing it to 1.4 spec and you're running a 1.6? I'd be getting the engine declared ASAP and the car off the road till then tbh.

Cat being at the right temp is very important. Whenever I have had mine done they warmed it up before sticking the probe in. Golf they had to do twice as it was over the first time so they let it warm up more, then it passed.
