Picked her up yesterday so took a few pic's seeing it was nice!!

















Hope to be able to give her a wash & polish tomorrow as the cars covered in dust from the building site we live on.

Cos I was expecting something with sliding windows and chrome hubcaps.

I didn't spot your name on the author bit as i opened the thread.

That roof when folded down really grinds my gears. Surely there is a better solution then just a big pile of roof hanging on the back.

Either way though, nice car. Like the blackness Is it a Turbo?

The turbo came out in 07 with the facelift model, however the cab wasnt revised until 09, so this ones a SC model. 170bhp for the time being

I didnt know until I went out my way to find out so dont worry about it.

I asked the salesman on the test drive & he said it was a Turbo. Even though I pointed out it whined like a SC

I'm just about to go out and give her a wash and polish - despite having the mother of all hangovers Any pointers as to what to use for a nice shine on a black car? Bear in mind it'll need to be purchased from Halfords until I get time to order stuff on the net

Its just a limited edition, like the mayfair or camden etc

From wiki - At the 2007 North American International Auto Show, Mini introduced the limited edition Mini Cooper S Sidewalk Convertible. It had a top speed of 215 km/h (134 mph) and accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour (0 to 62 mph) in 7.9 seconds. The engine provides 168 hp (125 kW) and 220 N·m (160 ft·lbf) of torque.
