For me its







only like the P-51 because it was given the merlin engine though and had 6 .50 cal machine guns

fiesler storch was made out of balsa wood, gloster meteor is good but didnt really come about til pretty much post war though?? I have a picture on my bedroom wall of one, do you want to see it.

I've seen it.

Gloster Meteor was around during the war, it's primary role was rocket interception. It flew quite a few sorties over Germany as well, shame they never came up against the ME262 that would have been an awesome dogfight.

Some of the projects the Germans had in the pipeline were staggering considering the restraints they had being bombed day and night.

I'm trying to trace those downed 109's to see if any of them were recovered because if they weren't, I expect we will be able to save the pilots and take the guns from the wings.

The P47 Thunderbolt was the first tank buster and was the basis of thinking for the A-10.

Amazing that the A-10 was the first aircraft designed around it's primary weapon.
