Didnt even know they did a VXR version of these...

Quick search and found that they did.

VX220 VXR

They look good but id have to change the rear lights!

think they just called it the VXR 220 as opposed to the VX220 VXR, maybe why you havent heard of it, could be wrong

I know, lol. I was being a bit wide. Considering the advert is for a VXR edition it has very little info about the car.

i went for a test drive in one a couple years ago

very comfy and nice to drive but impossibile to get in and out without looking like a complete donk TBH

yep clear coat, there is one black one in the uk owned by a woman, when it comes up for sale i am going to buy it.
Really miss my old VX220

Do like the vx220's but if i had 17k burning a whole in my pocket for a car it certainly wouldnt be gettin spent on one.

vxr ones came with other little changes like black v grill, yoko a048s i think, 4 channel abs etc etc! beta spec car than the standard one! the vxr ones hold there value well!

extra 20-30 hp brought 0-60 down by half second! sure it was 4.3 to 60!

the brakes were the same 2pots as was put on the other 2 vx220's and the elises.

the main differences were:

Engine has a Z20LET with a different turbo on it and different map

interior was different, has alacantara seats with harness holes in, no stereo and a carbon dash

the suspension had ohlins and had 17/16 alloy setup with yoko tyes and 4 chan abs.

they had a black vgrill and window surround along with black wing mirrors.

power was 220ish so 20 more than the standard tubby and 70 more than the 2.2

im pretty sure they used the same brembo pads as the others, but im not 100% sure..

i can find out if you want
