Get the keys on wednesday
Been such a ball ach sorting out the mortgage with me being self employed and trading for less than two years.
All sorted now though, cant wait just in time to move in over the bank holiday weekend.
Its called Thomas House and is in Stoke Poges
Underground parking with a barrier too
These are the only pics i have at the moment
Kitchen/Diner
Lounge
Our Bedroom
Spare Bedroom
Bathroom
Curtain is going to be replaced by a screen
Hallway
And the only outside shot
its the three windows on the far right
And the floorplan to give you an idea on size as is very hard with pics

Looks pretty spacious.
Not a fan of those skinny side-opening windows in the bedrooms though. Look properly odd
Brand new presumably?

brand new indeed, the windows are because of the sloping roof, not majorly bothered tbh, the one thing that does bother me though is the kitchen light, getting that changed asap

Am I the only one that thinks it looks 'modernised' and by that I mean every bloody room is the same sodding colour.
That's what pisses me off about modern interior design. It's all about painting every sodding wall a neutral colour. It's boring design for boring people.
I pray you furnish it with some personality as the place doesn't have any.

I've moved in the past month, my advice would be to get in there and then start looking at changing small things such as the light. I'm still not settled as i'm still waithing on things like the sofa to arrive.
My other advice would be to take your time in purchasing things. My last place i purchased tons of stuff i ended up throwing away in the end as i either broke the cheap piece of crap or didn't like it. Just get what you need for now. If you have a bird let her decide what to get

cheers for the input guys,
yes the woman in the pic is my mrs,
the walls we are leaving as they are for now s covered under the builders garantee.
we've got some solid oak stuff coming, dining table, tv unit and sidboard, got the corner sofa sitting in my dining room at the min ready to go, also got the usual stuff from ikea for the bedrooms, and loads of electrical goodies and the boring cooking stuff coming from john lewis (got a large sum of vouchers for our engagement )

What do you expect exactly? Painting in anything other than magnolia is going to put someone off sothey keep it plain. If you want stunning decoration you do it to your own taste. The developer will never go out on a limb to impress anyone as all they'll end up doing is putting someone off.
