I'd only go to see Axl

but he'll probably turn up 4 hours late and there'll be riots.

the only thing i will suggest you all do guys, is go and see arcade fire. i saw them there afew years ago without actually knowing any of their music. they were fantastic and one of the best bands i've ever seen live.

i'm not going this year though, i decided last year i couldn't be arsed with all the knobheads anymore

Totally agree. The last year I enjoyed was 1997

Every other time I've been has nearly resulted in fights with scum

TBF i've always been to leeds, but i imagine it to be the same

i'm half tempted to get a friday ticket to watch arcade fire, but it would be an extremely costly way of watching arcade fire

Never appealed to me. Load of dickheads in a field, and a load of shit bands. From that line up id like to see 3 bands. Not for me

You have to be drunk from the second the tent goes up until you leave on Monday morning.

If you sober up inbetween you realise you're in a smelly field and haven't had food or a wash for days.

I got a ticket at a hugely inflated price as i have been busy all day and not a chance to get on till just now.
Ticket touting is a fucking dsgrace.

Arcade fires album Funeral is a masterpeice. The second one allthough criticly aclaimed was toilet IMO. Apart form No cars go but that was on their earlier EP anyway.

Ive seen them live and they totally blew when i saw them. But everyone else i know who has seen them praised them, so it was obviously a dud night! That said it was the weirdest gig i have ever been to with loads of "arty" types who turned up to the gig to be seen, didn't watch or listen to any of it and just stoof wit htheir backs to the stage talking

Weird.

That or the greasy spoon around the corner in Caversham high street, it's next to the butchers well hidden but it's fantastic and within walking distance.
