mate seen a Merc clk listed in the colour he wants so despite it being at car craft we went and had a look, tuns out it was a manual and NOT an auto

anyway, while hes talking to the salesman I was looking at a silver Ford Focus ST3 on a 56 plate, it was up for £12,900 I dont know if that is cheap or dear but when I had a look at the breakdown I was fucking astonished

taking a loan out on carcrafts finance for 5 years would see the total amount payable 32,900

I was like whaaaaaaaat

list price 12,900 / credit cost over 60 mnts £10,000

so in 5 years you will have a 9 year old ford focus that you will have paid 32k for hahaha

Thats shocking!

However am i missing 10k somwhere here as the list price is £12900 finance is £10000 so thats £22900 isnt it? not £32000. Still a hell of a lot of money for that though.

WHAT THE FUCK.

A car worth 10k and a finance with an interest rate of nearly 50%, you end up owing 22k even after you sold the car for 10k.

That is horrendous, they really should be laws against this shit.
