My bro has just had a new screen. Had to pay £70 excess on his insurance. If you only got chips its usually free on your insurance.

The windscreen on my Corsa was chipped when I bought it. Going on for 4 1/2 years on it's still there and it's gained another chip which has started to crack in 3 directions, just waiting for one of the cracks to join the original chip now. It's been like that for probably 12 months tho.

My mum's had it done on her car, it strengthens it but you can still see it. Not as invisible as they make it on the advert

Tbh it actually doesn't look much better because you can see a big circle round the chip where the resin is.
