castrol magnatec, 4l, half price, 11 quid. Just bought 8l of ford 5w30 from there. Vaux 10w40 also on offer

Cheers Steve, got 4L of 10w40 oil for the Corsa all for 12 quid. Also got some 5w-40 for the Polo for 12 quid but that was only 2l.

i know its about .5l too small for most cars

so its half price for not enough oil to do a full change? then you pay full price for a bit to make it up

when you put it like that, its completely pointless. might aswell just go get 5 litres from unipart. its similar stuff anyway and a lot cheaper.

4l is all you get at halfords or anywhere anyway, of the castrol stuff.

Or you can do what i did and buy two, for the price of one, and have enough plus a lot more for topping up.

Or buy one half price and one 1 litre bottle at normal. Whatever way you do it your saving a lot.

not quite sure how people are turning it around into something that is a bad deal, half price is half price.

what oil is it unipart use? i thought that was castrol? last time i got 5 litres for mine it was quite cheap.

halfords oil is coma stuff and thats pretty good and not that badly priced.

halfords oil is 25 quid for 5 litres, i know because i recently bought some to do a change.

you could get 5litres of this castrol stuff for around 18 quid using the deal at tescos

thats not a bad price, it depends really on how much you believe the marketting hype of the main brands as to wether they are worth more or not. Iv not seen 5l of oil for less then 20 anywhere lately

ive always thought about banging some castrol stuff but i always get drawn to the cheap stuff. oil is oil imo.
