decided the smoothed one was a piece of shite - so decided to make me own from standard scuttle

How it started.....




now complete apart from mesh

yep nice one mate im currently doin mine too .how did you cut the plastic .i was just goin to use filler now as i have glass fibered it first to give filler some support.

lol at yellow comments - must be pic cause its same colour as the old scuttle that was on

oh i remember - its only had one coat of paint there - and was a goldie colour - had 3 coats now and same as old scuttle

do you have a diy single wiper,and can you fit it again properly in one piece someone told me to keep it in two it might crack ,it wont wil it ?

yeah got single wiper,

im pretty sure it will fit in one piece, after i cut the small lips off each end that sit under the wing and are not seen

if ya see it in 2 peices - i fitted it to car then - and fibreglassed the middle up before taking it back off and smoothing it out

if i did any for anyone - i would only do it to primed - not coloured

and u would have to set the screw on the front so it was in the fitted position,

really thou - pretty easy to do yaself just take ya time
