To concider chopping my Mito diesel in for a 170bhp 1.4 Petrol one with all the bells and whistles?
I keep thinking that I'm only young once, living at home and bringing in a decent wage so I could do it.
I could quite happily afford it providing I get a OK price for my car...
I just keep thinking fuck me I only live once!

You only live once... So get an Elise or even Exige for that money. A 1.4 alfa mito is hardly life on the edge

Butler, I'm thinking a little practically here! It also needs to be a comfy every day driver... I do rack the miles up well! Plus they don't really appeal to me, the Alfa does, I'm soo pleased with mine!
Work out cheaper? No, but I could afford it I recon. It'd cost £20 more to tax, a little more to insure (£100 a year perhaps?). The biggest hit would probably be taking a 15-20% hit in economy?

Personally I wouldn't. You've only just (ish) bought what you've got and will take a hit on depreciation. Its not like you're really going to get something different or powerful, just the same as what you've got but a bit nippier.
Not enough of a change to make the cost worth it in my eyes.

Because I really like the MiTo, I've driven a fair few things but that ticks every box for me...
My ONLY concern is covering 15000-17000 miles a year in a turbo car...
