brought this the beginning of march as the corsa died on me got it for 300 quid without log book need a few bits to sort out the bonnet and boot need respraying needs new camshaft and going to replace the clutch as making a wining nosie belived to be thrust bearing

it on 112,000 it is 2.0 8v with the 20ne engine

plans: lower it 40mm springs and shocks
exhaust system with maybe 6x4 oval
upgraded speakers
front spiter and maybe some leather
wheels refurbed and sprayed in bright sliver

yeah i didn't think i'd like it at first but it great now i'm used to it should got 16v isnt that quick handles well through

Rio Verde suits Calibras down to the ground. I'd love to have a Calibra at some point. Would have to be an XE or LET one though!

Nice though mate, and bargain price too.

yea i werent that keen on them then i got brought an ecotec 1 then i bought a redtop 1 and theyve grown on me. only use them every now and then. never drove a 2.0 8v 1 tho

think i should held out for a 16v but i needed a car and it was cheap and the insurance same as the corsa but the corsa felt quicker but then this in a bigger car



i dont think ill have a ecotec for some time due the trouble i had with the one in the corsa

Wasn't you the member who's dad wouldnt let you have a 2.0 corsa?

If so, why go for a 2.0 calibra?

he didnt say i couldnt he just said he wouldnt fit one into my corsa as he dosent have that much exprience

i never really liked them but when i looked at one i just took to them it much better to drive than my corsa more smooth and don't feel like i got go fast every where

p1ck4d where abouts did you see me saw graham driving like a nut case lol

mattb get another pick them up for peanuts

nic if i had the money i would of gone to a c20let but i dont think i could be trusted with a turbo yet lol

true the turbo's are still bout grand for a ok one i noticed hard to find a really nice one

i was thinking about a spoiler but i like the look of it how it is i did look at one for the top of the rear window tho

im going to keep these wheels for now as there arent that many gm ones i like they all seem to small or don't like them plus i think they look good

A spoiler like an Astra SRi one will make a massive difference to the back end, my mate's coupé has a spoiler on it and it looks far better than without. It really does look empty without.

Calibra DTM wheels tbh
