Well, today was the day. The Rolling Road day that was organised at A&M Conversions went ahead as planned and we had a great day out

Bit of misunderstanding on the start time...but most people were there when i got there, so we cracked straight on!

IVIark Graham was up first - 125bhp

Jamie next in his VXR Astra - 249bhp

Mark Lawton tried next...

buut (as always) the car was too low so had to take it back out and wind up the coilovers a little

So, Marc D's XR2 went on in the meantime - 101bhp Down on last time it was rolled, should have been about 130bhp. May need setting up again, but its getting checked.

And then Lawton tried again and got on okay - 202bhp

Next up was Mark P's LET. A gorgeous example of a corsa...really well done, credit to mark for his efforts! - 265bhp Struggled to put the power onto the rollers, spinning up above about 5k, but still mega impressive! Will be a weapon with the Quaife'd F28 and set-up

Derv-Power's corsa Diesel next. - 90bhp

Mike B's mk5 SRi followed on - 155bhp

So with almost all the Vauxhalls done, we decided to get the Hondas in. Mine was up first, and put out bang on what its booked to have from factory! - 212bhp

Andy's DC2 followed on, gorgeous car...sounded great as the intake was disconnected from the air box for the run - 190bhp

Flaffy's civic was next, again, sounded great I was in the loo at this point so havent got many photos of it.

This was followed by Kurt EP3 CTR. Lovely car, and made again, bang on factory output - 197bhp

Stu G wasnt on the original list, but having turned up to watch, decided to put it on the rollers after a disappointing run last year. - 156bhp

Lee's banana followed up next - 197bhp

Shaun's Octavia followed up next - 196bhp

Then the last FWD of the day was Jonny P's Focus. Sounded good and was up on standard power - 135bhp

Then there were just the final 2 cars, being RWD they had to go on last. So Mark P's friend had his Porsche Boxter S and went on to put out an impressive figure. - 250bhp

Adam D's 328 coupe was the last car of the day, anda gain...held onto its factory output - 197bhp

So yea...thats the day in full! Hope everyone had a good day out, and we'll maybe organise another one in the autumn if people fancy it.

Thanks to everyone for coming, and those vauxhall people who needed any work, he said he'd do mapping and such cheap for you, just say that you were there today and he'll remember you

yea well thats what you want isnt it. some were up, some down...but most were bob on.

mine peaked earlier than it should. the first run was 209, and the second hit 212, so it was basicly the better of the two runs. Thats what they were all like though.

Kurt's not even my real name anyway

Happy with the results, for a standard car you cant argue, knew the k&n panel wouldn't do anything anyway.. would have been nice to have creeped into the 200bhp club

alright then...

i think if you get your grouppe-m inlet and get the buddy club exhaust on it...that'll free up at least 20bhp as they normally respond real well to breathing mods.

Jonny, yours was a good suprise tbh! glad you're happy. Feels good going away from a dyno run knowing its as it should be. I was gutted at the one at dyno demon, and why i was reserving judgement today...

Was a good day! Think the second run of mine was the better of the two as well. Was happy with 320lbft...

tbh, Mark P's corsa was car of the day for me. Was exactly how i would have done it all. Styling etc is spot on, without losing the purpose, and brakes etc are the same bits that i was after for my GSi, so i really liked it.

Gonna be amazing with the new box on it mark!

made it much louder would have thought the lack of restriction from the airbox may help the airflow. Same concept as a cone!...
