I'm meant to be up in Bromley on Thursday and Friday this week to detail a couple of cars.
The owner of the vehicles is proving difficult to get hold of to actually speak to!
Basically have any of you had any of this bloody ash fall on your cars or are you expecting it at all this week?
I don't want to go and do them if I'm likely to get ash clouded whilst I'm there or its likely to happen when just after I finish them!!
Cheers

Dan - really?! Great, I'm at Lemass Wednesday doing bits for Tom and for the car sales in front!!
Fad - scheduled to be there Thursday and Friday unless it all goes wrong. Drop me a PM and we can sort something out. Will have to be late PM / early evening as got to be with the client by 8.30am.
As for removal of the ash, its one time where snow foam will be helpful if you rinse it off before it sets. I've not had to tackle it yet so not had to figure out best plan of attack on it! Snow foam and pressure washer seem 2 logical ways though.

Looks a bit rough to be using on your car; I'd be concerned about scratching the paintwork tbh

I've been in the garden all weekend and not notice a thing.
I think a lot of people are over hyping the ash fall.
FFS its at 50,000ft in the jetstream

you can save the flattery!! Jetseal is pretty good tbh. I use it mainly as a wheel sealant or a base underneath collinite.
I did trial 3 coats of it as the sole lsp on my van and it gave a nice finish but didn't bead for long; around a month and a half. Doesn't mean the protection had gone, but I'm a tart who likes my protection to bead.
