I've just had my Astravan M.O.T'd today and realised that i've only done 2778 miles since it's last M.O.T.

Whenever my insurance is up for renewal i always tell them i do 6000 a year for some fucked up reason. I have no idea how much extra i'm paying for this mileage i never do but i'm gonna have a word to see if it makes much difference.

I tend to be honest with them... I do 15k a year but have got only 12 down at the moment. If I get near to the 12 i'll change it

yeah i just make it up to see if there are any consequences, i don't really pay attention to the mileage per year i do, so pick the average for insurance, 12k i think

its all a big con.

if you are down on a 10k a year policy, and u do say 12k, insurance companys can do nothing. you just tell em someone else has access to the car and they drive it on their own policy

Just say your mate owns a runway which you drive a lot on Plus you own a rolling road, and do lots of wheel spins

I think I do around 6-8K and insured for 6 or 8K

I've got my Corsa on a limited mileage policy with penalty charges for exceeding the estimated limit.

I set it at 7500 P/A

Last year I did around 1800.

Limited mileage gives you some good savings.

Bikes are set at 6k and 5k, but haven't asked for current mileage so pointless
