Yeah mine looks better without the strips but I have lighter lines where they used to be, I am too lazy to find the time to T-Cut and polish it out.

It's not really faded paint that's the problem, it's a sort of thin white line u get along the sides where the strips used to be. My mate took his off (the smaller pre97 strips) and the white line is a bitch to remove. It's starting to fade now but only after 6 months or so of lots of T-cut and polishing!

im hoping for a full respray any way. i dont think theres a white line. but i aint 100% sure, ill have a look tomorow. wasnt on any of the badges.

i got a 6" x 4" oval magnex zorts, that was £108, and the price i got for my alloys is £999. 18" Millie Miglia's. aint sure how much its gunna cost to get them on though! keep me posted on how much work it takes to lower yours

I debadged mine with no problems and no faded paint. When i took my side strips off however i was left with really bad white lines where they used to be. I've had one side resprayed coz of some accident damage and the other side is getting resprayed when i get everything colour coded next month. It looks 100 times better now everything is removed though.

You might get away with it. Its pretty much pot luck from what i've heard from other people. If not it wont be much to get it resprayed, get it done when ur kit gets sprayed and fitted.

yeah. thing is thought, the kit is £700, and its gunna be around £500, or £600 for it to be fitted. thats the cheapest quote i got, then be £600 for the respray
so i got a load of saving to do before i can get it all done
plus the alloys, and the suspention. and i love my tunes too, so i need ice! why the fuk everything so expensive!

ICE dont really bother me that much. I just got a sony headunit cdx-m670, alpine spr-694a 6x9's and a stealth shelf. Need to get the exterior done first. Alloys, exhaust, and body kit.
