The rounds travel approx three times the speed of sound and the L115A3 has a suppressor, so i doubt they'd have heard it.

says they travel 3 times the speed of sound. so he would fire the shot, 3 seconds later the bullet would hit, then 9 seconds later the shot would be heard

i made a similar shot to this on derail, i would say mine was about 1.8 miles though, infact i shot it and the kill did not register until the next game it was that far.
