That's the actual deal with a 10% sell of clause.

I'm not sure that Evans will let him go for that, I think another season in the Championship and he'll be worth double that.

Think Rooney but stronger at 17 and you have a good idea of what we are talking about.

Yeah I have heard about the fella but never seen him play. So we are talking more a new Rooney than rather a new Walcott (thinking both young talents at that same age)

More like Rooney, not as aggressive.

His throw is ridiculous, as good as Delaps as well which makes him an asset in that respect as well.

Seems fair enough then. As I say I haven't seen him play, so who knows where he will end up. If he is as talented as you say he might be at the beginning of a bidding war for the big clubs in the Premiership, and then being loaned out.

I've never seen him play but judging by the amount of times you've thrown his name into the mixer I guess you think he's going to be damn good? But that sort of bid for a player so young means he must have something!!

I give up now on what players cost irrelevant of position and age, the world has gone crazy with transfer fees. 25 Million pounds for Joleon Lescott for eg

If he goes to spurs he's basically retiring at 17, much like John Bostock

His record doesnt seem to compare very well to Rooney's at the same age? Or even Owen.

Hes only just started to play regular though, 3 goals in the last 5 games don't set the world on fire but his assists and his general play is outstanding for someone of his age.

You can see when you watch him that hes miles better than everyone else already.

Lots of the scouts that have been watching him when he was coming through the ranks were saying how good he was.

Anyway I don't need to big him up anymore than I have, the evidence will be next season.

More developments with this story, it would seem that a few weeks back both Fulham and West Ham approached Wickham before his 17th birthday so they would only have to pay compensation but he wanted to stay at Ipswich.

So it seems that the big clubs have already tried their luck so I find it unlikely he will be sold.

Fulham are in a European Final, I'd say that's better than the current top 4 in the Premiership can muster

Do you want cunting or what?

Now it seems we have had a £4 Million bid for Jon Walters from Stoke, this is fucking ridiculous.

£9 million for two of our players thats what the value of some teams in the Championships squads comes to yet we finished bottom half.

What do you believe defines a big team Nath? Out of interest, not cheek I'd say Fulham being in the final of the Wafa has extended their reputation greatly!
