Fancy a change of car
first was going to get an astra derv sporthatch, but that deal went down the pan...
then was thinking a van, to put tools etc in
maybe convertable.....
no idea, has to be reasonable on fuel, which the astra isnt! though it is comfy and you can do hundreds of miles with out feeling it....
or just keep it
so far been looking at e36 bmw's coupe or cab's astra vans (stavworks style)

not an E36, old, drive very tank like, hate them
get a astra sportive van, great and you can make it look nice, be nippy, and actual perform a task

pick something you like, find a nice one.
i'm betting if you get a diesel astra or an astra van you'll be looking for another car pretty quickly

I'm betting if he had an astra van, there would be a z20let under the bonnet pretty quickly.

see i would of thought a 100,000+ mile BMW E36 would be better mechanical condition then a 60,000mile astra coupe
you probably do more miles in the bmw and have less go wrong
