Harsh considering half the season was spent with all his decent players injured.

Luis Boa Morte said that Gold should think before he speaks to the media and basically should stick with Zola.

It's a results game, he didn't get them, and he didn't get on with the new owners
Right decision imo

Disgraceful but glad he got the sack and did not resign. Therefor removing more vital funds from the pot and hopefully more chance of seeing them suffer relegation next season.

9th in his first season.
Injury plauged second season with behind the scenes going on.
Harsh IMO. The players liked him too.

Also add to that the fact the new owners totally undermined him in a attempt to force him to resign.

TBH if I were him I wouldn't work for those 2 interferring clueless gimps. I get the impression they think owning a club is a bit like playing champ man.

difficult place to be in, and im properly 50/50 over it
he's a nice bloke, and correct got 9th in his first season playing nice football
to survive one of the biggest fuck up's in english football for some time is amazing, and he should have been rewarded...
BUT
he is totally tatically clueless, and his signings have been intresting, if indeed he did make them
having watched alot this season live, we have played players constantly in the wrong postion, weird tatics knowone can explain and overall were lucky there were 3 worst teams tbh
those that slag gold and sullivan off, well they are WEST HAM fans, and saved us when knowone in there right mind were going to buy us, we were 10 days from adminastration, having to use personal money from nani and duxbery to stay aflout and got sponsors to pay players wages, which ever whay you look at it they saved west ham, and therefore, rightly or wrongly, can do what they want, which will be in the best intrest of the club
