My god!

What a transformation.

Really a weekends work?

Had hold of one of them last year. Got it up in the air on a mate's Dad's forklift. Ripped the gearbox out and threw the rest away.

I have more pics Davie, just of bolting the kit on and putting the windows in etc, most of the time it was behind closed doors being prepped and sprayed. He hasn't got a progress thread though.

Yeah was a Friday night through to Sunday night project, proper hardcore You can just about spot some rust on the original picture, but there was rust all over it the exterior, was hard to believe anything good could be made of the car. But the chassis is absolutely mint and went through an MOT first time

I'm sure it'll be out at some point Ben, he prefers driving his Cooper S though as it has sounds and speed lol.

That's the plan eventually, he's already spraying his RS Turbo in Ultimate Green so I think that's priority at the moment.

Minter, tiz amazing what you can do if you put your mind to it, and graft. Me and a mate re painted a 7.5t truck in 2 days, including all rust removal etc.

You've turned a car that would normally be worth nothing more than scrap value and possibly a few parts to some RS owners into something that is probably worth a couple of grand or more
