Must be 1080p Full HD,
Found one for £599 but doesnt have Freeview on it

I've got an LG & Samsung 50"

Would say the LG is better tbh! Why must it be a samsung?

i too have an Lg lcd that is far better than my Dads Panasonic Plasma.

i did think about LG as my mate has one, im just gay and want it to match my samsung surround sound

that is a top of the range plasma, do you really want a plasma over an LCD though?

At your budget you'll get a better LCD packed with more features and likely better image processing.

Plasma has carried the reputation for better image quality because spec for spec, it does - but £ for £, and for casual use - LCD gets my vote.

A true videophile would go the plasma route - but they'd be adding a few zero's onto the price of there equipment surrounding the TV too

I've got a 50 inch LG plasma, it's spot on. Only ever had 1 full HD source through it right enough.

They do suffer from transient image persistance though.

Yeah screen burn, mine appears to be a lower model than that one though. Even though I paid that for it a couple of months ago
