As good as he is, they are idiots for taking someone who cannot train because he'll get injured

Nothing to do with his Knees though, it was a Groin Strain. Could've happened to anyone of them.

But at the same time, he cannot train anywhere near as much as he should. So strains are more likely

He trains in the gym and then joins the players a day or two before the game. Joe Cole did the same in SA as he is still recovering from his big injury. Its not like he plays Xbox everyday til the next game and just turns up on match days.

It's not match fitness though, they should give Dawson a go imo.

So true about the sweeper thing Jake, happens to me on Sunday's a team mate of mine sweeps up and he's the one that looks like he is having a good game, while silly bollocks here is covering all the central bit rather than gap between full back and other centre half.

He's never hanging after 90 mins though. And its not as if King makes mistakes. I'd say his schedule is fine. King is in SA on merit.

Good point well made, although I thought he got caught a few times against Mexico which wasn't that encouraging.

Dawson has to fill in for King imo. Unfortunately this won't happen.
