Because VBOA think that CS is a forum and not a car club. This was a few years ago now and a lot has changed since then so maybe one day they'll change their mind...

I think the VBOA need to modernise a bit if their opinions are still the same as they were 4 years ago. But these are the rules:

A few of us locals go pretty much every year and have an unofficial CS stand somewhere there. I know me and my bro will be going this year and i think will's gonna be there too. so yeah, could always have an official unofficial stand if you know what i mean

Seems like a lot of hassle just to be recognised by the VBOA.

Doubt it would be worth it. But CS stand at TV live is open to all Vauxhalls and trax is usually covered by weekend racer.

Billing would be ace - like said! Maybe we will be taken seriously - even more so if we get our first non-internet based member

It's not VBOA stopping us from going, it's us having not gone to re-present the revised club structures which allow offline membership.

If we went and did that I am sure we would do better than last time. But I also don't want to go changing something which works for me.

Having said that, there is demand for it. If I was sure we could fill a stand there I would consider it.
