some old chap took a corrado storm to be scrapped on this scheme, the chap in the VW dealer managed to convience him to save it and got him nearly £4k for it instead

I beleive so, I go past a skoda garage and they have an L reg pink astra outside with "Get 2k off a new car when your scrap your old car" on the side of it

I thought it had stopped, unless companies are funding it them selves and not getting it from the government.

the client of ours thats a car dealer has only done them a few times but they only ever got 1k from the government and the other 1k came from the car company.

It was always only 1k from government and 1k from manufacturer (unless the manufacturer decided for more discount)

It has ended, a couple of months ago now but some manufacturers are offering good deals to try and combat the decline in sales brought about by the end of the scheme. I did a project on it this year.

Id love a walk around there, you could steal and bits you needed and noone would care lol

If you read the comments beneath he says some of the cars have been driven about and smashed up, that would be fun, choose a car and have a demolition derby!

Those photos make me actually angry. Quite how wasting all those good cars is worth taxpayers money to import cars from abroad I don't know.
