When people try to pass a car of for being lowered '120mm all round' when really they have just fitted a 60mm suspension kit.

I remember when i bought my GSi the boy told me it was lowered 80mm all round. I laughed at him.

Constantly reading adverts & project threads where people just pull a number out the air and say yeah its lowered 'xxx'.

I had lowered my coupe by x amount, I then raised it by 40mm front and 50mm rear... I lost cool status in car parks

I bet barly anybody has ever measured there car to see how much lower it is, I bet most 60mm lowered cars arnt 60mm.

Most people who exaggerate how low thier car is over here is because they have cut springs and have no idea how low it is.

my favorite was always the polish and ported head and cams, stuff that you cant really prove has been done with a quick walk round, a lot of my mates have been stung buy that little lie lol

im pretty happy to tke some tools and check these things when im paying extra money for the parts to be there but my mates wont or will tell you they checked only to be proven wrong later on

i put 80mm rear lowering springs on my car and it turned out it woz only 75mm but i havent measured it since and that woz just after i put them on but i stayed 60mm at the front but didnt measure the fronts but got some 70mm coming soon but not expexting it to lower it 70mm
