So then, on saturday myself, Lee Mitchel, Halfpint and serial lurker and jk hat lookaline Tommy entered the VXR regional Karting with the help of VXRdougie who a few of you will know at Buckmore Park

it went like this

Briefing



We qualified in first with a 51.6 lap from Tommy in a 30min session





me and the team waiting for me to go out first



Halfpint leads the field (kart 50)





who would think 168 laps later these 2 karts would end on the same lap

Banter tommy, jr and Lee whilst halfpint fights his way back from 4th in his 40min stint










Lee insisted on wearing this slimming waistcoat, halfpint in handing over the kart in 2nd to me after beeing in time attack mode to grab some places back

No idea where the photographer went when lee was out but he kept us in 1st with a constant 12 second gap to number 12, and then handed over to Tommy

Tommy Lapping edging closer to the win





Winning team well done lads

so this means we are in the national final at the vxr power festival on the 29th june if you fancy supporting us, against the other 7 quickest teams in the uk

I can imagine. I'm exhausted after doing a 30min session for fun, never mind being competitive!

was great, also 2 hours 25mins in halfpint was leading the quickest driver of the day standings and a drive in a race prepped vxr corsa untill someone blizted it by another half second

more impresive was tonys was done on a full tank of fuel

Yeah I hate that when doing team enduro ... You want a shot at the kart when the tyres are good and it's low on fuel to get the best lap of the day, but it rarely works out that way.

Shame Half Pint didn't get the drive - he's a bloody good karter.
