To cut a long story short my mate was getting married this weekend and hes called it all off and they have split up, They spent £2500 on the honeymoon and I have offered to buy it off them for £500 and she wants to sell it to me.
Ok what im not sure on is the location. Its a week in Cape Verde which is a small island off Africa and well theres not a lot to do on this island, im just in two minds at the momment, and i dont know what to do! its next week and i like time to plan a holiday
The hotel is a 5* all inclusive so we wouldn't really have to worry about any thing else and as with some of these remote places if you stroll to far away then your likely to be mugged etc.. anyway!
Few snaps, doesnt look to bad
Or am i just being an helm and should just take the offer!!

Does £500 all inclusive mean the blonde bint too? If so get in there. Leave off the couple in the room though they look german. She'll have a hairy bush and he'll end up in you with no chance of a reach-around.

My mum and dad went last year, they said there was nothing there but it was really nice and the weather was brilliant
For £500 you'd be an idiot not to go

So what if there isn't a lot to do?
£250pp for an all inclusive week in the sun in a nice hotel and as much food and drink as you can possibly eat.
Room looks good and so does the pool. You'd be foolish not to go. If you don't can i take it?

If she is seriously wanting to sell it, then you might as well jump at the chance.
If shes not bothered about selling I'd be a bit more cautious tbh. Don't want to look like you're taking advantage of their situation.

That would only be the case if he offers the line "If you get a bit lonely..."

I've been to Capre Verde 2 years ago!
Lovely place! More of a chilled out place really, not clubbing bars etc. Although there is a little irish bar in Sal!
Its big for watersports out there to to the wind and swell. Bodyboard, surf, dive etc.
Defo go for it, i'd go back tomorrow if I had a mrs lol.

i would go
incidently I waas going to book for that hotel but decided to do another holiday
I personally wouyld nto play thousands to go there as people have stated there is very little there as its up and coming
However at that price get it done - do you have to pay for name changes though as that can be costly

Cant believe you're actually questioning this
Although one word of warning - check the tickets/holiday can actually be changed in to your name at such late notice.
Oh, and if you dont want it I'll buy it off her.

My dad went to Cape Verde and said it was shit.
Very very windy, and sand blowing everywhere all the time.
But think his main problem was boredom, if you wanna go just to chill and get away from it all then go for it.

It includes the name changes as she has been to the travel agents, its £100 to change the names.
I expect i will take the offer up as id never go there again and if we play the honeymoon thing along we might get free stuff chucked in
Ive read some reviews and people said there were whales in the sea really close, that just put me off a bit
The flights are from Gatwick does anyone know what the parking is like there and if its pricey?

It looks ideal! My gf n me wanna go on holiday this year to something just like this. As for gatwick your gunna pay alot parking. I have traveled from Taunton by train from Kent and didn't take too long. Go tauton-st pancreas then tube to paddington/Victoria then train to gatwick. By far cheapest option

Yes, speak to me. I stayed in that exact hotel.
The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, that pool looks exactly like that and the entertainment is first class, they really do make an effort.
All inclusive food is also brilliant, absolutely everything you could want all day long, and everything is super clean and fresh.
That hotel is called Riu Karamboa in Boa Vista, it does get windy but it's not like it all the time and can be refreshing after the heat.
Beyond the hotel there isn't much there, but if you want to relax it's perfect and I loved it as did Rachel. They have loads of activites on site so you shouldn't get bored and the cocktails are gorgeous.
Do it, pics on my Facebook as well.

Can't tell if you're joking or not mate - Cape Verde is a dry country. It's a muslim nation. Also you can't bare any flesh so roll your shirt sleeves down when you go.
