So I decided to get a new exhaust system fitted to my car I also decided to fit a new manifold too last weekend with help from a couple of mates (Adi_Sri and Captain_Rosco off here).

A HKS 75mm Single Exit system, which goes along with my decat and this 'J's Racing' (replica) (PLM) exhaust manifold and my j's racing genuine ecu.

I hope so!

We took the sound meter with us.

At idle it's around 60-70 ...
at 4000 rpm it's only 91 db (most static tests).
At drive by it was 101.2db, but that was quite close to the car.


Adrian's however (the yellow) one is a different story. I'll get his vid up at some point.

His was 113 db as it drove past FUCKING LOUD

haha - I don't think my exhaust is that loud... I guess it's because I'm used to adrian's he used to have ultra loud exhaust on his 350z - and his s2000 is loud!! - wait till I get the vid of his up

Where's that?

I live in Crowthorne and work in Godalming - so go down to the m3 and down / up the a331 every day.

erm ... as you come off the M3 at farnborough i think it is you go up a hill with an army barracks on your left go past that u come to a roundabout turn left and your at the A30 if u go right you can go to the meadows roundabout in sandhurst and left to hartley whitney?

Spec 3's sound shite whatever car they're on. My mate had one on his EP3, there's no real definition to the sound, just a "noise" Yours on the other hand sounds allright. Who's the actual manufacture of your header?

They may just replicate proven manifolds but they do the job for a fraction of the price! The real j's racing manifold is about £1400 - my PLM was about £300.
