which cars stand out for you as being iconic of this era, maybe cars people will foundly look back upon in another 10yrs time

I don't particularly wank over VXR's but I would say they are iconic as everyone knows what they are.

Veyron - the price and the speed
Audi RS4 - took the saloon car to a whole new level.
Nissan GTR - the clinical way its put together and runs.
Civic type R EP3 - id say it set the bench mark for hot hatches.
Caterham 7 superlight R500 - just an amazing handling 2 seater track car.
Bentley Brooklands - The ultimate luxury grand tourer.

All in my opinion of course

E46 m3. Latest Porsche gt3 rs and most of all Ferrari 458 just pure genius. Should be going out in my mates on Friday

Today it got delivered. Rosso corsa I think (red) got VIP tickets to the gp gets to park behind the Ferrari garage. Complimentary of the garage he got it from. Taking my other mate to the qualifying for a surprise bday pressie. Lucky git. Wonder if he'lllet me drive
