they're only off my phone and i done them quickly so nothing special, but they'll do for now.
rear of house:
garden:
conservatory:
bathroom (shower room really):
landing:
bedroom 1:
bedroom 2:
hallway:
kitchen:
living room:
it's not finished yet so there's still some mess laying about, but will hopefully be finished by christmas.
need pvc doors put up between living room and conservatory, a new rear garage door and a few other bits and bobs.
tv is going up on the wall. already have the wall bracket, just waiting for my dad to put it up.
it's not a huge house but down south this is what you get for 176k + about 4-5k we have spent on it so far.

the main bedroom is red, the 2nd bedroom is pink because the mrs wanted it like that as her family will be sleeping in it when they visit from scotland.
no point me choosing colours because i'm a man, so it'l be wrong whatever i pick

yeah just 2 bedrooms. anything with 3 bedrooms was over 200k and our max budget was 180k it's a good starter home though, and hopefully in 5 or so years we'll move into a bigger property.
main bedroom is above the living room.
it's a lot bigger than some of the other houses we viewed. this has a conservatory, big garage and a hallway whereas others didn't have any of them at all.

i hate artex but for now it's fine. will have to get dave the plasterer in at some point.
stairs in the living room seem to be th enorm for a 2 bed property. we looked at about 11-12 houses and only 1 house had stairs in the hallway.
but compromise and all that. some were in shitty areas without public transport (mrs works in london so needs a bus and train near.
and you never know about little ben's running around maybe one day, not this year though.

yes nights one week out of every 3. there's a huge fireman over the road, he seems a nice guy
yeah the box thing in the bedroom is annoying, but we are just going to put stuff on top of it, probably a small tv or just use it as a shelf.
i have to have the bed against the wall as i always sleep facing walls. don't know why, just a thing i've always done

Did you put the landing light up? I want one.
We have a ridiculous 5 bulb thing in our lounge at the minute. Costs a bomb to run!
Your right about colours. I let my missus pick them out too. As long as it looks decent I don't care!

They cover the head height when you walk down the stairs.

Looks really good. The kitchen looks great, that's something we need to do some work on in our house.

Great for a starter home, obviously will not be big enough for a family, but you are a similar age to me (22)? So not something on the cards yet
Im the same with letting her pick the colours, as long as it looks alright I dont care, and she doesnt like pink so
Kitchen is a tad small, but looks like a quality finish, same for your bathroom, shower looks like you could squeeze 2 people in there quite easily
You got a good size garden as well even with the conservatory sticking out and a garage which I wanted ideally on ours but couldnt get.
Get overpaying asap!

thats one of things we'd like to sort out if possible. having it as a square shape would give us a lot more space. all depends on how much overtime i can get in at work

yeah we put the lights up. they were from b&q. iirc the 3 bulb light was £31.49 or near that

yeah i'm 22 and the mrs is 20 and we both work full time so no family just yet, maybe a couple years down the line
yeah the kitchen is quite small, but perfect for us as we don't have much free time to clean stuff up and i prefer compact things.
the shower is a double one so can easily get 2 people in there but we will most likely put a bath back in there with the shower just on the wall as the mrs likes her baths
cheers for all the comments

Looks really smart that mate well done!
Unsure on the master bed layout but i guess you've just designed it around the furniture you have.
Only thing i could come up with would be to move the bed to opposite side of the room, and build a huge built-in wardrobe with integrated draws across the whole wall enclosing the dodgy looking boxing etc.. and hiding all your stuff.
You could then get rid of the freestanding wardrobes and drawers and just have a couple of bed side tables maybe?
Unsure on how it would look as i cant really tell how big the room is!
Garden next is it?!

we didn't really want built in wardrobes as i like to move things around from time to time, so this gives us the flexibility to do that if we wish.
garage next. i've already made a start on painting the walls white. just need to do one more wall and the floor and then board the ceiling up.
garden will be done when the house is sorted as the grass has gone an awful shade of yellow due to the very very dry weather we've had (luckily it's rained this week).
will get there eventually though. only been here 6 weeks now, goes so quick though!
