Did you see the EFA with the 4 paveway LGBs and 3 drop tanks doing a display? That's one of the development ones from my hangar in work.

im going tomorrow, how were the queues getting in? Last year we were queuing from lechlade, so having an early start this year. Got my cameras on charge, just hope weather holds

Ah yes Ste W i did indeed see it!! Awesome machine.

Dreams came true today, saw all those spits at once, saw them actually giving the Lancaster some stick. Saw the fucking VULCAN saw a B52 fly which is something ive wanted to see for like 20years and the Raptor, the dutch F16 display was ace as well, Tornados where epic also

sounds like airshows used to be 10 - 15 years ago, not the watered down shit you seem to get all the time now.

I have worked with fast jets for 11 years, All front line squadrons. Been to Red Flag, Green Flag, Air warrior etc. I've had a jolly in a Harrier T10 for my 22nd birthday.

Yet there is still something magical about an airshow.

awe inspiring. I was so happy they gave the Lancaster some stick. Poor kite must have been needing to stretch her wings for years always doing low throttle fly bys for the memorial flight! She was centre stage this time

I used to go to RAF mildenhall when I was younger as its just down the road but they stopped doing airshows years ago.

I've seen and heard all sorts of jets this week being between Fairford and Farnborough, I heard something tremendous fly over Thursday ran outside to see a F-15 doing a sharp turn over my house and heading towards Farnborough.
