I have been a salesman at a car dealers for Mazda, Suzuki and KIA for around 5 months now. Prior to that i was in the valet bay for 3 months.
At first, i though 'Hmmmmm KIA, this could be interesting', but i have to say, these cars are actually VERY good!
I appreciate the Picanto and Rio arent the best of things, but hey ho, they are still bargains.
As for the other models, they really are high quality cars now.
The Cee'd is a firm contender for the Astra, Focus and dare i say it, Golf.
The rest of the range is the same, if not better. Sorento, New Sportage, Soul and Venga models are all very highly finished and refined. Most also have a 5 star NCap crash rating too.
The majority are all designed and engineered in Germany and built built in Slovakia. The Picanto and Rio are mainly built in Korea.
And when you look at whats coming later this year/next year, i have to say i think they are going to go from strength to strength!
Anyone had any dealing with these cars on a personal level?
Now for some pics.....

If I was looking at medium sized hatches I'd definitely have a look at the Cee'd.
Although I prefer the Hyundai i30.

I like the Cee'd's and the Souls, grandma has a Picanto and for the money she paid it's a fantastic little car. They've really picked up their game

I like the Cee'd too, though I bet appearing on Top Gear is the best type of advertising.
Looked into them before I bought my Golf though, really nice looking cars with the right options.

7 year warranty is ace. I wish more manufacturers followed suit.

i may be sad but i always think when someone asked me what i drive and i said ''KIA'', they would just look at me as if to say ''wtf you buy that for?''
hardly badge snobbery as i like ford/vauxhall etc, all the normal well known ones.
i think kia have a very good range of cars but they're prices are going up and are just as expensive as all the well known marques now so the only thing they have going for them is the warranty really.

That venga is a funky little thing and the soul is pretty cool too. Don't they do a sporty cee'd that looks pretty ace too?
I'd consider KIA if I was buying brand new

We went to look at the soul last year but I was surprised at how small it was. Salesmen were retarded letchs though so we walked out again pretty quick

I too like the Cee'd. Especially in that white colour which seems to have a bit of pearl to it.

Can't depreciate much quicker than a new Vaux/Renault/Peugot though can it!
