Look better than i was thinking tbh, still will probs paint them gloss black.

Very interested to see what you do to this, 1 wrong choice and it could ruin the car completely, first Viva on CS anyway, good luck

Will you be keeping the original interior, just re-trimming it?

Still got the BMW but the head gasket blew and lost intrest, it's all been fixed but I've sold alot of the parts and i'm a vauxhall man so I had to get a decent project and just run the BMW into the ground.

Left work early today to pop over to the local avo to pick up these

they fully adjustable dampening so should be good to get nice and low but super hard

Gona fit them and chop the springs to see how much i can lower it with out any problems and then order my springs from coilsprings.co.uk who will do me a set for £150

Nice mate

What are the long term plans, i.e. is it going on track, have the odd strip run or will it be a weekend toy?

Just a nice weekend driver, it's never going to go fast with the 1159cc engine with 4 speed box, would be nice to fit a 5 speed box just for a big more speed and easier motorway cruising. Just gona keep it mint and do as much to get it as good as possible!

UPDATE: 23-08-2010 - PAINT.

So in 4 weeks from friday i go to belguim so i thought i better get on and paint it. So on saturday morning i went into work and one of the panel beaters did the panlel work for me then i primed it all down and painted it. Whats its been painted with before is crap and is like rubber
So after alot of feathere it out and getting down to a good base i degreased it, masked it all up, etched it and then primed it with a good few coats of 2k primer.

Over the next week ill block it all down and then get it ready to hopefully paint it next saturday.

On the ramp so didnt have to bend down

All Buzzed down:

Masked up:

Etched:

Primed:

Should be all good for 4 weeks time and ive got so much to do before then
