not much you can do, strap it up with a bandage or one of those support sock things, and keep weight off it, but thats pretty obvious really.

I've hurt my knee, clicks each time I take a step, can't put pressure on it without it giving way, went to see a doctor, my usual was too busy.

He told me because I'm skinny (I find slim more fitting) and clearly have no muscle, I probably don't eat much (er probably more than his family, fast metablosim imo) and as for jogging, that's not real exercise. Told me to ride a bike and build up the muscle.

Been riding my bike, its getting worse, but doc says its helping......

Theres a few physio technics to help.
using leg weights would help, and running doesnt help either found out the hard way

Luke all depends on how bad the damage is I've only got 1 ligament in my knee that works the others have snapped the only thing that holds my knee in place is the skin around it

I'm waiting on an MRI on my kenee. Torn ligament and my kneecap doesn't track properly at the moment

Best thing for it is rest untill the pain/swelling has gone and try to carry on as normal without doing anything to strenous to your knee. GP will refer you to an orthopedic (SP) surgeon imo

It may well be but I wouldn't put the diagnosis in the hands of someone who's not qualified to make that call. Go to your doc before thinking about the route to recovery!
