Its always the same this time of year at the top hotels in London. Its the perfect time to go car spotting. Park Lane and Dorchester Hotel best places to go.
All the Shiekhs etc come over from UAE because its too hot. They ship/fly their cars over etc. Most book out an entire floor of a hotel for their family and just mince about in London.
I know of a Concierge, who looked after a Sheikh during his stay for the summer, and at the end he handed him the keys to his Ferrari and told him to keep it.
It caused loads of fuss though as the concierge wasn't allowed to accept "gifts". In the end I think the Sheikh bought a job lot of Rolex's etc for all the hotel staff instead.

did the usual loop.. walk down Park Lane, turn to go towards Knightsbridge and there are loads of high end hotels along there.

Bob Forstner garage down Park Lane had 3 Zondas, 2 Murcielagos, an Enzo, a Koenigsegg, a Spyker and thats about as much as i can remember. Awesome place.
