Not said why yet, just that he has done so with immediate effect.

Im guessing its something to do with transfers and the lack of spending.

Similar thing to the barry situation last year and he's probably worried he won't be able to replace Milner. Wouldn't be suprised if young was sold next season also.

Probably pissed that the deal has taken forever to sort out so he is now left with a matter of days before the start of the season.

Gutted he has left!

I recon the Milner deal was the cause of all of this. IMO MON resigned to letting Milner leave but wanted cash + ex with a few Man City player i.e. Ireland and a few others, but board wanted the full cash price.

Feel sorry for him, thing is he must realise that the players don't see Villa as a team where they can win things hence Barry and Milner leaving.

O'Neil can do better than Villa anyway.

I've been told Young is being sold as well which was the straw that broke the camels back, not too sure on the validity of that though.
