tbh I think its a shame. Whilst the latest version was more "old man friendly", there isn't anything out there with the character of the Vtec unit.

Look at all the hot hatches. All turbo engines, the NA lump is falling behined now a little. Only the Clio comes close, but that doesn't have the balls out high revving nature of the Vtec.

That said, i've seen a Mugan doing laps and brands, and tbh I don't think any mildly tunned hot hatch would be anywhere near it at all. Bloody superb round the bends, and a bloody good enigne too (about 240bhp).

I think its a shame, and young bakers all over the world will be baking bread and cakes in memory.

TBH when the orginal CTR was relased it made VW all them chumps think about hot hatches

To me it was a greatthing to happen to that sector and has caused some seriously good cars to be produced by competitors

Probably the best road hot hatch ever to grace the public road going planet (so far)....

And yes, its been tested against that track Megan R26R thingy, and it has beaten it.

I dunno, dashes are excellent I like the looks of them really.

Mugan exhausts are gay though.

I've had a few Type-R's over the years most recently a FN2 and I have to say they are fantastic value for money when compared to the competition.

I'd be interested to see if they replace it at all given Honda's recent moves away from performance models and motorsport in general. I think the likelihood is that we'll see some kind of performance Hybrid in the form of a CRZ Type-R

Not really you could basically have 3 meganes for the price of 1 mugen civic

I found it impressive that a Nissan-GTR was only a second slower than a Ferrari Enzo round the ring.

Expensive as its got a mugen badge on it. Supurb car though if your daring enough to spunk the money on it.

NA engine with 240bhp is impressive enough
