http://www.bc-racing.co.uk/

Anyone ever heard of these? Some people have never heard of them, some said they're well used within racing and have a good name.

AP's for my car are £565 and are just height adjustable

BC Racing have 2 different kinds

The BR version with is for street and trackday - £570

http://www.bc-racing.co.uk/coilovers-series-br/

And the RM version which says it's for Track Professionals - £650

http://www.bc-racing.co.uk/coilovers-series-rm/

I can't really see alot of difference between the BR & RM version apart from the fact you can buy optional extras for the RM one. Anyone heard of these or had them and got an opinion on them?

I think its ER you'd want for trackday/race isnt it?!

Inverted with remote reservoirs etc.

Havent looked into them before - but I'm aware of them. Cant see them going wrong on a fast road car with occaisional road use. I'd consider them budget options though... but havent tried them for myself.

Yeah that's the proper hardcore version though

Mine is still a road car 95% of the time which is why I thought going for the BC ones as opposed to AP would be better as I can adjust the damping if it's a bit hard for the road. It's by no means the best out there but I don't want to spend £1300 on KW's.

In my experience KW are shit anyway.

If you are spending over 1k on coilovers Bilstein is the only way to go.

No,

Mine were awesome on my Civic Graham, did alot of trackdays, B roads, motorway driving and they performed very well for the price. Yes KW, AST etc will be better. but your looking at 1.3k + for the decent ones.

so..... yes.

They are 'budget'

Extreme example - many corsa owners swear that their £200 suspension setup is the best ever because its stiff and rattly. No - Its shit.

Not saying BC is shite - just saying they are budget.

iv read plenty of stuff about the top of the range shiz like AST aswell though, it doesnt matter what labels on them if theyre not put together right your gonna have problems. Not saying AST/EXE-TX/etc etc are crap, but iv read about problems with them.

Scoobynet really don't rate BC coilovers

I never said I wanted the best coilovers as I can't warrant £1300 on coilies for a road car that gets the odd trackday but just thought I'd get some opinions on the BC coilovers because of the adjustable damping so I can set it to soft when just wanting a casual drive. Whereas with AP you can't do that, although I rated AP on my Fiesta so it's still a consideration if BC racing aren't great.

The thing is you'll only read about them when they've gone wrong. Nobody posts up saying how good their coilovers have been.

IMO if you buy youl be well pleased for the cash, rm's are literally inverted BR's to shift weight off the hub and the ER's are the RM's with external resi's. what do you use the car for?

Reviews on forums are always biased to fuck, no that induction kit is shit get this one because everyone else has/ don't modify it like that, modify it with these parts that come in boxes instead of bags.
